What is the Grand Ave coalition? This is a group of governmental agencies which include: Surprise, El Mirage, and the Maricopa Associations of Governments. The City of Peoria, AZ has recently approved $50k of funding starting in 2012's fiscal year. The funding with help our commuter rail to expand along the Grand Ave Corridor. This area already has rail road tracks existing. The Grand Ave Corridor passes through the cities of Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, Youngtown, Phoenix, El Mirage and Wickenburg.
