arcadia: Arcadia's Kitchen 56 - 07/16/11 01:20 AM
Kitchen 56 is our neighborhood's newest edition to the trendy "upscale comfort food." Retaining history by incorporating the originally built building in 1961, while infusing a modern flare, this new dining experience has great views. Rumored as well for good service. Read the blog to learn more about Arcadia's Kitchen 56. Do not forget to visit again and leave your thoughts regarding Kitchen 56.
Even on the most summer of days in Phoenix, The Arcadia Ice Arena is home to the Ice House Tavern where everyday is wintery. This spot is hidden to eye. It is between Wal-Mart and Radio Shack, revealing itself with a blue metal door and a sign hanging above it. The cool space at the bar is to sit next to the floor to ceiling windows that are a one way mirror to the (3 comments)
The extremely unattractive South East corner of 40th St and Camelback has long awaited it's new neighborhood fine dining establishment. Sam Fox, famous for his modern Italian restaurant NoRTH will be opening his 6th location here. I live in the neighborhood, had my door knocked about three years back asking if I would support the establishment, duh! Who would not that has ever frequented a Sam Fox creation. One thing our community did decline was a second story edition to the new fab spot. The location does offer (0 comments)
Sunset over Camelbac Hike to the top of this 2,704 square foot hike that is a wild, desert, natural preserve in the middle of the city, in the Community of Arcadia with 360 degree views of Phoenix, Scottsdale and beyond! Although the distance is considered a short hike, it is a strenuous one by most hikers standards. Before beginning any exercise, have at least 15-20 oz of water in your system. Fill a few water bottles half way and freeze. Once frozen, fill to top with water. If you use a Camelpack, use ice cubes in the bladder. Lather up (3 comments)

arcadia: Arcadia's favorite Neighborhood spot Postino's at LGO (La Grande Orange) - 05/29/11 02:08 AM
The weather is so gorgeous, take advantage of the amazing patio Postino's has to offer! The patio is almost as good as the brushetta. Come on down Mondays and Tuesdays to get any bottle of wine and a plate of the most decadent bruschetta, for $20! We are not taking about slivers of bread here, you get to choose 4 of the 12 varieties they offer, and you get 4 slices of each. Enough to share, sharing is caring. The wine list is forever changing, and the selection is great. Some of my favorite wines have been featured here. Grab a (0 comments)
