Philadelphia Investors Stage Rehabbed Property - 02/27/08 02:39 PM
I recently staged a house in the East Falls section of Philadelphia that was completely rehabbed by a group of investors. At the realtor's suggestion, I met with the investors to "sell" them on the concept of staging. They were easily convinced, although their budget was tight. They opted to stage select rooms on the first floor of the house, a 3-story dutch colonial. The house is minutes from center city Philadelphia in a premier neighborhood. Below are photos of the living room and dining room pre and post staging. Staging can achieve dramatic results with even limited funds!
Upcoming Old House Fair in Philadelphia - 02/22/08 09:58 AM
The Preservation Alliance for greater Philadelphia is hosting the 2008 Old House Fair on Saturday, March 22nd from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at Germantown Friends School (31 West Coulter Street, Philadelphia). The fair grew out of the Alliance's mission to provide technical assistance and educational activities that encourage restoration and reuse of historic buildings. A central demonstration area will allow hands on workshops. In addition, the Alliance will present individual homeowners with awards of recognition for their restoration and renovation projects. Free Marketing to Chester County - 02/03/08 04:52 PM
I stumbled upon www.ChesterCountyWeb.com a few weeks ago. It is a comprehensive on-line business and organization directory. The site provides information, marketing and e-commerce opportunities. The best part is that most of the services are free! The directory is designed to bring local business and residential communities together. It is reported to be utilized by those living and working in the county as well as those visiting or relocating. There is a specific area on the site for real estate. In addition to listing your business in the directory, you can post information about upcoming events, add listings (they run for 30 days at no cost), publicize open (1 comments)
