There are lots of recurring things to do weekends in downtown St Petersburg, but here are 5 special things to do this weekend in downtown St Pete:
1.  Tampa Bay Blues Fest, held at Vinoy Park, a wonderful waterfront park in downtown St Petersburg.
2.  Soccer at Al Lang Field. The Tampa Bay Rowdies play their opening soccer game tonight against FC Edmonton.

american stage: It's busy weekend inand around St Pete Florida - 04/21/07 07:41 AM
First - we have a balmy weekend - sunny days in the 80s and cool evenings in the 60s.
The main event - with awareness of the pun - is the Mainsail Arts Festival at the Vinoy Park in downtown St. Pete. St Pete College has been expanding its satellite locations for some years, including expansion into downtown St. Pete. Dr. Kuttler envisioned an arts and museum studies program for SPC, and worked with the Florida International … (1 comments)

There is a string of parks, running from the Albert Whitted Airport, past the Renaissance Vinoy Hotel, along Northshore Drive, and nearly to Snell Isle. Some parks are directly on the water, and others have a road … (0 comments)
