big island: Verizon air card

I've found my Verizon air card well worth its $49.99/month fee (no limit on calls and no long distance charges). It is much more reliable than WiFi, and saves the WiFi fees that many hotels still charge. I use it when out with clients, when travelling, when on the boat. It has worked as far away as the Big Island in Hawaii, but today for the first time I found its limite - in the mountains of Wyoming and Utah.
