Terrorist attacks, completed or planned, have changed air travel significantly over the past few years. I've become accustomed to the extra hours at airports prior to departure, leaving my Swiss army knife at home, taking off my shoes, and the many other changes - but to travel with no laptop at hand? no cell phone? no earphones to block out engine noise and screaming children? no camera? That's hard to imagine. Hopefully those "temporary" changes will be gone before I fly again in a month. We're always careful NOT to put these in our checked luggage, which we haven't been able … (2 comments)
