The water temps at Richland Chambers Lake are lower than normal for this time of year due to all the crazy weather we are having. This is getting in the way of my precious fishing time. Has anyone been on the lake fishing over the past couple months? I can't wait for some warmer temps so we can get back out there! The Corsicana Lions Club meets every Tuesday at 11:30am at the YMCA.  Our club supports many local and state charity organizations.  Some of our events are White Cane day which raises money to support children that need eye glasses , but cannot afford to purchase them.  We also raise money for Lions Camp which is located in Texas and is hosted for children with various disabilities.  Each year the Lions Club hosts a Golf Tournament and Tennis Tournament to raise money.

I am a huge music fan, singer/songwriter/musician, and also just like to go out and have a great time.  Over Christmas I was invited to attend a concert in downtown Corsicana, TX at the Palace Theater.  Let me back up a little and say that Corsicana is my hometown.  I lived here for 18 years of my life and then left to attend the very best Univerity called Texas A&M!  Whoop!  After graduating in 1999 I moved to Dallas, TX and started my career in real estate and played music on the side.  The "Older Generations" would always tell grand stories of attending the Palace Theater back in their youthful days.  I had heard a while back that the venue had been restored/renovated.  I would hear great things about how awesome the sound was and that it was just a neat theater to see an event.  I moved back to Corsicana in 2007 and had been there for 3 whole years without attending an event at The Palace.  For some reason I just didn't have much desire to go see a concert in some old renovated rural community theater.

So, back to my original story about how I was invited to see a concert at The Palace.   We attended the Andrew Peterson "Behold The Lamb of God" annual concert at The Palace Theater.  WOW!! And can I say WOW again!!  I have attended many concerts at multiple venues all over the place.  Let me start by saying great show Andrew Peterson.  I will attend every year.  Awesome Sound due to the Palace Theater acoustics.  Very Intimate Atmosphere due to the Palace Theater setting.  Awesome light show creating the perfect mood.  I was very impressed and can't wait to see another event.  It reminded me of a small Nokia Theater.  So, if you haven't attended an event at The Palace Theater in Corsicana, TX ,  please visit their website and buy some tickets!!!
