Gold Rush Town in Old Sac CaliforniaI had the opportunity to visit Old Town Sacramento in California. Walking around this section of the city is like taking a step back in town. It is right on the shore from the Sacramento river and is mostly original architecture. Board wood sidewalks, cobblestone streets, rail road tracks right through the town, river boats on docked on the shoreline. This is a great place to spend an afternoon with the family. The 4 or 5 block square area is full of shops, restaurants, a wonderful Sacramento Rail Road Museum and just wondering … (3 comments)
