The Fulton, Carr's, & Pea Pod Wars in Lancaster PaAs many of you know, my wife and I are huge fans of the Fulton Theater in Lancaster, PA. This past weekend, we once again had a chance to enjoy a Fulton theater production. The Christmas presentation of The Sound of Music was once again performed in beautiful fashion. Prior to the production, we dined at a Lancaster, PA favorite. The Cork Factory Hotel Lancaster PaTheee Place to Stay in Lancaster, PaThis last weekend I was fortunate to have a reservation mix up at the Lancaster Arts Hotel. The front desk person that we dealt with at the Arts hotel was rude, unprofessional, and in dire need of customer service training. It had been a long time since I dealt with such unprofessionalism, fortunately we could not stay at the Lancaster Arts Hotel, actually being members of the Fulton Theatre we are in Lancaster very often, however the Arts Hotel will never be on our list of places to stay. One Down, 6 More to Go In Lancaster PaWell this one is in the books, the historic Fulton Theatre closed it's first production of it's 2010 -2011 season Saturday Oct, 2. The opening production this year was Spamalot, "A new musical lovingly ripped off from the motion picture Monty Python and the Holy Grail". For any of you that remember the Monty Python movies this was a walk down (albeit a hysterical one) memory lane. Penn Square Grille Lancaster PaRecently while attending an event at the Fulton Theater in Downtown Lancaster Pa, my wife and I had the opportunity to visit what has become an old friend. The Penn Square Grille is located right on the square in beautiful downtown Lancaster Pa. It is in the Lancaster Convention Center, that is attached to the new Marriott hotel. Lancaster County Pa-Amish CommunityThis past week I was fortunate enough to have to travel just a short ways from Gettysburg Pa to one of my favorite and most memorable spots on the planet. As a child I spent many a summer visiting and working on a Mennonite dairy farm outside of Gap Pa. Coming from New York this was a quite a treat for me and I believe it formed my basis for country living. The work was hard, but the quiet and beauty were well worth it.
