Greetings from my pond in Sag Harbor NY. Today this is what the view from my living room window looks like, we are expecting up to 6 inches of snow. Not exactly conducive to resourcing furniture for my latest 8,000 sq. foot vacant home! The way we all do business, work and play has changed so dramatically over the last decade due to the Internet. To think that just three years ago I didn’t even have my own e-mail address! Now, here I am with my own website, I’m blogging, the author of an e-book and I’m just finishing up my first e-newsletter, which will reach nearly 1000 Realtors with just one keystroke! Amazing! The fact alone that over 80% of homebuyers shop for and find their homes on the Internet has made Home Staging and good photography essential to successful home sellers and Realtors (6 comments)

Window treatments, draperies, curtains! Whatever you choose to call them, it seems more often than not they are mounted incorrectly. It never ceases to amaze me that the optimum method of hanging them hasn’t filtered down to the general public. It’s like some kind of “Designer secret”! To my mind, mounting window treatments correctly is a sure signs of a Pro! I have made it my mission to spread the word to all of my clients regarding the how’s and why’s of perfectly mounted window treatments. Active Rain is a wonderful forum for reaching out to so many individuals so I (27 comments)
