baltimore orioles: The Baltimore Ravens have made us long suffering Maryland fans proud! - 02/10/13 11:14 PM
The Baltimore Ravens have made us long suffering Maryland fans proud.

The city of Baltimore wears a lot of hats.  Since the success of the Baltimore Harborplace and National Aquarium in the early 80's - this diverse city has become a mecca for tourism, the arts, and younger home owners that spawned an era of high end rehabs of the venerable Baltimore rowhouse.
One quality that Baltimore hasn't been known for lately is that of a city with a winning sports team.
Well all that changed last Sunday when the Baltimore Ravens won the Superbowl in New Orleans!!

baltimore orioles: Is it Spring in Maryland yet? - 03/31/11 01:25 AM
It must be Spring, Baseball Season is about to begin! It sure doesn't feel like it in Central Maryland. Despite the chilly temps in the North with a possibility of snow, it will still not hinder the start of the 2011 Major League Baseball season.
Thursday March 31st will be opening day in many stadiums across the Country.....and Canada"Time for some peanuts and cracker jacks".The Baltimore Orioles will be playing in sunny Florida this weekend against the Tampa Bay Rays before heading back North. Opening day at Camden Yards is on Monday April 4th against the Detroit Tigers. The game starts at … (4 comments)

baltimore orioles: Taking in the sights in Baltimore City, Maryland. - 03/28/11 02:43 PM
A delightful Day in Baltimore City.

One of the joys of living in Central Maryland is the close proximity to Baltimore City. As in many large key cities in the USA there are good parts and there are bad parts and for the most part Baltimore gets a bad wrap."The Wire", a very popular HBO series, was set and produced in and around Baltimore. It portrayed the City as a less than savory place to be, but that is after all just fictional entertainment.  There are many wonderful communities in Baltimore.

The most popular tourist destination is the Baltimore … (3 comments)

baltimore orioles: Come on Baltimore, come out and support them O's! - 05/29/10 12:13 PM
"Take me out to the ball park"

Baseball has such a long season and it is hard to keep the interest of the fans when all your team does  is lose. Sadly The Baltimore Orioles are today officially the WORST team in both the American League and the National League with only 15 winning games this season. Notably the birds did sweep the Boston Red Sox 4 weeks ago at home, but have done little since then.
Baltimore is abandoning it's team.
Today The Orioles played the Toronto Blue Jays.

Both the Canadian and the USA flag were flying and both … (7 comments)

baltimore orioles: Orioles Baseball- It's Opening Day in Baltimore! - 04/09/10 12:45 AM
Spring is officially here in Baltimore as the Baltimore Orioles return to Camden yards for Opening Day. Today's 3:05pm game will undoubtedly be a festival as the "Birds" come back to town.

It's a new season, new hope with new team players. It's been quite a few years since Baltimore was a GREAT team, but fans remain loyal.
All fans will also get a free team magnet schedule and an Orioles Car magnet.

baltimore orioles: A little Baltimore Bird wishes you a Happy Birthday. - 03/10/09 07:53 AM
With the Baseball season less than 3 weeks away, there is concerns that the economy will affect the attendance at the Major League Baseball parks.

Some stadiums are raising prices, but The Baltimore Orioles are giving away Birthday presents to their fans. The team announced that any fan can get a free ticket to a game during the month of his or her birthday - except for games against the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox.
Free seats are in the upper part of the third deck, which cost $8 to $15.
A fan can register … (2 comments)

I am a Maryland transplant from many other places, most recently Florida, but since 1997 I have found my true home in the heart of this great State. Maryland has it all. Mountains 3 hours to the West, the Atlantic Ocean 3 hours to the East and head North and South for either Philadelphia and New York or Washington DC. It is the perfect location! The Metro Baltimore area offers a rich mix of history and modern amenities. City living, suburbia or "not a neighbor in sight" is available in this area. Excellent Schools, amazing communities and an incredible location is why many people choose to live in Central Maryland. I proudly help my clients buy and sell all types of homes in Howard County and beyond. Enjoying the entire process is my goal for my clients. Every transaction is different and everyone has different needs. I know the Metro Baltimore area well and I am current on the Real Estate Market activity- That's my job. As your "Buyers Agent" I will work diligently to find you the home that suits all your needs. I will update you immediately when a home matches your search criteria. I will educate you on the current market and help you craft the best offer possible. I will "hold your hand" throughout the entire process. As your "Listing Agent" I will coach and guide you from day one to put your best foot forward when you list your home. I will use aggressive and innovative marketing strategies to give your home the best exposure possible. I will use modern technology and multiple resources that other agents do not use.
