Christmas 2011 is over and the relatives are still in town. What is there to do in Howard County to get out and about? There is no better family activity than the annual "Symphony of Lights" display in Columbia, Maryland. Over 70 huge animated and stationary light displays spread out over Symphony Woods. This event is open nightly from 6pm till 10pm (except December 31st)and will be open till January 2nd. The entrance fee is $20, but click here for a $5 off coupon. Lost for something to do now that Christmas Day has passed? Round the family up and head to Columbia, Maryland for an enjoyable excursion to see the Symphony of Lights. Conveniently located in downtown Columbia's Symphony Woods, the display is open for vehicles through Sunday, January 3, 2010. Now in its 16th year, is a long-standing tradition for Howard County and neighboring County residents. The holidays are ALMOST over so what is there to do with the family now that 2009 has arrived? Load everyone into the car and head to Columbia. Just two more nights left to enjoy this years annual event which is the biggest fundraiser of the year to benefit the services of Howard County General Hospital.This event is a drive through Christmas light display on the grounds of Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland.
