Do you have the luck of the Irish? -The 56th Annual St Patricks Day Parade in Baltimore CityEveryone loves a parade and they do not get any better than the largest Maryland parade that celebrates the Festival of the Irish that marches through the heart of Baltimore City on Sunday March 11th.March is the month that everyone in Baltimore thinks they are Irish no matter what their true heritage is. HAPPY SAINT PATRICKS DAY The weather on Sunday March 14th in Baltimore City was not perfect, but it was not raining and it was not freezing cold like it was two years ago. The Annual Baltimore City St Patricks Day Parade is a rain, snow or shine event. The atmosphere is electric and the volume is loud. There are more kilts than you can shake a stick at. Everyone loves a parade and the yearly St Patty's Day Parade in Baltimore will never disappoint. A 50 year local tradition in Baltimore marches through the heart of the City and draws thousands of spectators as the Irish culture is celebrated with pipers, celtic dancers and even the Irish Governor of Maryland. The festivities begin with the Shamrock 5k The Shamrock 5k starts at Charles and Franklin streets and ends between Pratt and Lombard streets at Power Plant Live.
