Alcohol Free New Year: Orange, Virginia - 12/27/08 07:13 PM
Music on Main Street is a New Years Eve event, that is family friendly, alcohol free! The event will be held at 122 E. Main Street in Orange, Virginia. The admission is only $5.00 per person.

First Night: Fredericksburg, Virginia - 12/27/08 07:05 PM
Before every new years, I try to search out the best and newest event to attend on new years eve.. So, I thought I'd share with my local AR friends some of the events for this years. First Night in Fredericksburg, will be held in downtown Fredericksburg.
A stage will be set up for performances and activities throughout the evening. The festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. and at 12:00 a.m. This is a great way for the entire family to enjoy a safe, family freindly event.... Enjoy

Market Report: 2008 Housing Statistics for 20169 (Haymarket, Virginia) - 12/27/08 10:10 AM
I am amazed at the statistics for Haymarket, it more than doubled in the past year.....(I grew up in Haymarket) It certainly has become a very nice place to live!

When you look at the statistics for Haymarket, Virginia (20169) you can't help but feel a little optimistic. There is good and bad news, but I think the good out weighs the bad (or that could be my rose colored glasses)
The total dollary volume sold increased by a staggering 71.18% from 2007
The median sold price did drop by -21.41%
But, total units sold increased by 92.86%

Christmas Events for the Kids in Washington, D.C. - 12/20/08 07:20 PM
The National Zoo is also one of my favorite places, the Christmas show there is quite beautiful, and its just something different to do, that is out of the norm. If you have the chance to go to the National Zoo, I would recommend it.

One of my favorite places to go when I was a kid was the zoo... The National Zoo in Washington D.C. has a spectacular Christmas Light display for kids (well the whole family) The Zoo is cover in lights, and has dozens of animal light sculptures.

Oh My God, I saw that show this week Konnie....it made me cry like a baby....I hope it's not fake though, I think it's great for these rich people to get a taste of what it is like to be poor...although some of them started with nothing and became rich, they did not inherit it..but it is truly a great show......

Northern Virginia Holiday Display: Bull Run Festival Of Lights - 12/12/08 08:58 PM
We go to the Festival of lights every year, it's quite a hike for us, but it has become our family tradition..but I will caution anyone who goes....go on the weekday, the lines get very long on the weekends, and the wait to get in, will be much longer than the ride around the park looking at the light.....
