due diligence: Summerlin Vistas & Paseos Neighborhoods ~ 10-15% Over Priced? - 08/05/07 12:12 AM
I showed homes today in two of my favorite Northwest neighborhoods of Las Vegas. We saw homes between $600-900K. I have lived & sold homes in the Summerlin area since the early 90's. Sadly, today... I could not have been more disappointed. Several homes that we saw today, I saw 4 months (11 comments)
due diligence: It’s always best to be the 1st Born, 2nd Wife & 3rd Realtor! - 07/29/07 11:11 PM
I never thought I could embrace this belief, but the sellers of today are forcing my hand! I'm like the girl who dates the womanizer thinking I have what it takes to change him! Uh huh... Sure... Right!! I have come to the conclusion that we are all going to need to (71 comments)
I realize not everyone finds value in staging. I personally don't get how you don't, (7 comments)

due diligence: I can’t find my agent, or my agent is busy... will you show me a home? - 07/15/07 12:11 AM
Lately I've been struggling with trying to figure out why buyers work with agents that are not really working for them! We happen to carry a fairly large listing inventory, so we receive a lot of sign calls. We are continually asked to show homes to buyers that already have an agent. (41 comments)

due diligence: The worst Real Estate advice I’ve ever received! - 05/27/07 11:45 PM
Being in this business for over 17 years, I've been given what I would consider poor advice on more than one occasion. The absolute worst being one simple sentence... due diligence: Let’s pretend your home is a Stock… What are your options? - 05/27/07 06:52 PM
I know I'm playing with fire here... However, I have to get this off my chest. Consider this an open letter to every seller out there. Let's say you purchased your home (stock) at $200K. The market is smiling down on you & that home (stock) skyrockets to $425K! Woo Hoo!! We're (11 comments)
due diligence: Typos, Errors & Omissions… Oh my! - 05/27/07 11:30 AM
WARNING: This could be considered more of a rant than a blog. How often do you see typos in a listing? Does it say to the consumer that we're busy... or lazy? How often do you see poor quality photos, or worse yet... no photos at all?? Last week I saw a (60 comments)
