There's a traditional stereotype that exists concerning realtors. It's not my intention to elaborate on the stereotype other than to say: #1 - It really boils down to one's own personal experience whether it's true or not; and #2 - One bad apple does not a bunch make. Just a real quick post to remind you about the online technology called: vFlyer. That's right - it's a virtual flyer application where you can input a listing and then distribute it to all the prime real estate viewing sites on the web including Trulia, Zillow, Cyberhomes and Google Base. I especially like the ease at which vFlyer allows you now to send listings to your Facebook and Twitter accounts. It's actually pretty cool. I came across the first of the following videos on Facebook (thanks Reggie Nicolay) which led me to other one. And they're just so fun. And just when you need a break from the day-to-day grind of doing business, there's nothing like looking through the lens of comedy at what you do for a living. The recent "24" finale opens with the President of the United States sitting her cabinet down and saying to them, "I know this has been a long day." In a recent blog post I asked/answered the question: If you could choose one word that sets apart a successful realtor from an unsuccessful one, what would it be? The word I offered was: H-E-A-R-T. Throwing money at the real estate business has been the nature of the business for most of history. Unlike other business models, real estate people go into business to establish the “biggest” presence possible in order to overwhelm the consumer and real estate agents, offer to pay the most commissions, and provide the largest advertising presence.
Rather than focus on the “best” consumer product, the industry is focused strictly on numbers and size. (When using strictly numbers and size we validate the consumers’ impression that we are wealthy, and that we rip off more consumers than the competition.)

How many of you think your website is getting a lot of traffic/visitors/viewership? A few hands? Maybe?
