6 Types of Personalities - 01/27/10 12:27 PM
Real estate is all about people and helping people (as it is with any career). There are all kinds of people that a real estate professional can work with. There are short people and tall people, young people and old people, skinny people and not so skinny people (is that politically correct to say?), people with tatooes and people without tattooes, people who wear rings on their fingers and people who wear rings on their toes (do you know anyone who does?). There are just so many different people. And then there are just so many different types of personalities that … (2 comments)

7 Reasons Why You Shouldn't Give Up (either) - 01/25/10 02:21 PM
Are you facing any difficulties? Have they got you to the point of wanting to throw up your arms and quit? There was a man born into poverty. If that wasn't enough, his family lost their home. If that wasn't enough, he had to work to keep the family afloat. If that wasn't enough, his mother died. If that wasn't enough, his business failed. If that wasn't enough, he ran for office and lost. If that wasn't enough, he borrowed some money to get back into business and went bankrupt. If that wasn't enough, he ran for office again and won, … (1 comments)

9 Things You Should Know Before Moving to Sonora - 01/13/10 02:18 PM
I've been living in the Sierra foothill town of Sonora, California for more than a dozen years now. Just to show you how much my wife and I knew about the area prior to our arrival, the greater Sonora area is known/referred to as the "Mother Lode" due to it's rich history and gold mining past. Thus, "Mother Lode" is used often whether it be included in a school's name, in a story in the local newspaper, etc. And so my wife really thought it was a woman/mom who owned the whole county called "Mother Lode." (Chuckle, chuckle.) This thinking was … (0 comments)

3 Ways to Get Off to a Good Start - 01/04/10 05:21 PM
What's the most important part of any race? Some would say it's the finish line and crossing the finish line first. I agree with the last group. Without a good start, in many instances, you can kiss the rest of the race goodbye. So how are you starting your race this year (career-wise)? Get off to a good start in the following three ways...
