As the song says, "What the world needs now, is love, sweet love!" I snapped this photo this morning in my yard and thought I would share a little Florida nature with my friends on AR. It's just what happens in the "wilds" of Cape Canaveral to preserve the species. Maybe National Geo will pick it up :-)

Thunder on Cocoa Beach, Florida: Super Boat Grand Prix, 5/20/2012 - 05/22/12 05:08 AM
The third annual Super Boat Grand Prix was held in Cocoa Beach, Fl, on Sunday May 20, 2012. Thousands of spectators lined the beaches for the free show but many opted for the complete VIP pass for around $100. It was party time from Thursday on and the racers were accessible for meet and greets. The boats were on display before the big race for photo ops and live bands were everywhere. Joe and I won the Jump's horseshoe tournament on Sat. and then I jammed with "Sax Appeal" playing my blues harp. It was another great day in paradise! Dave (Kooj) and Maria Kujat are "Sax Appeal" playing at Jump's Tiny Tavern in Cocoa Beach. That's me in the middle with my blues harp.

The Many Boats of Port Canaveral, Florida - 05/19/12 06:40 AM
Sport fishing boats are docked in Port Canaveral, Fl. They share the port with small personal craft, party fishing boats, freighters, tug boats, shrimp boats, cruise ships, casino boats, yachts, super boats and nuclear submarines. There is always something going on at the Port with lots of seafood available in the many fine restaurants.

My Mom was always there when we needed her. She had more friends than anyone could ever hope for in a life filled with joy and happiness. It took her at least two weeks of preparation to mail all of the Christmas cards out to friends and family. Her cheery smile and love of life affected everyone around her and we all miss her dearly.
