bpos: My Off Road BPO
- 03/31/09 03:48 PM
I was excited to get a call from Mark to Market to do one of their rush BPO orders. Normally by the time I log in to see one of their orders, someone has already logged in a picked up the bid. Well, guess what? The reason why the original agent couldn't do the job was because they had car troubles. Hmmm... Cut to me in my little Ford Escape. Yes, I've got 4x4. Thank God. I'm listening to the GPS tell me I have two miles to drive to the landmark intersection. A previous listing tells the reader to head (1 comments)
bpos: I want more BPO's!!
- 11/28/08 11:02 AM
About a year ago I got a list of bpo companies for which I proceeded to sign up. It took about a month to get rolling, but after that, I was getting a lot of orders. Mainly I was working with FARVV(super cheap payment, last minute requests for changes), Lighthouse (not real excited to wait 90 days to get paid for these), eValulation Solutions (yes, I got paid for them all), Single Source, Mark to Market (somehow I got a couple real early in the morning a couple of times), and several on Clear Capital too. Also, I continue to sign up with new (36 comments)
bpos: Advantage Valuation or Take Advantage Valuation??
- 11/18/08 08:38 AM
I was looking for a bpo company someone had mentioned on AR and found Advantage Valuation company. I got to page 4 and they are asking for $149!! I don't even know how long that membership fee is good for - a lifetime, a month, a year??? It sounds like Advantage Valuation is trying to take advantage of me! Has anyone ever heard of them? Used them? Like them, not like them? (2 comments)
bpos: Main Street Eval BPO
- 11/18/08 08:03 AM
I found out some interesting information on a company for which I am signed up to do BPO orders. Main Street is a company that sends out email blasts to apparently about 50 agents in my area for orders. I see the email, I log on, and guess what. No order. How many times has that happened? So I called the support number and asked them if I could be a specified agent they called first and was told that isn't their policy. Craig at CS told me that certain email providers were notorious for delaying their response time and/or ending (18 comments)
bpos: FISERV is blowin' up!!
- 05/09/08 04:17 AM
Wow, I can't believe it!! I registered with FISERV last October and hadn't heard one thing from them. Yesterday I receieved 12 BPO orders from them!! 12!! Today, I called them to get some more info on the orders real quick before I left and I asked if they reimbursed for 90 miles I was going to be driving today. They said no, but the increased my order pay $10 for me!!! Per BPO, that's another $120!! It also looks like their system is going to be good to use. And guess what? They actually have an order payment tracking right (6 comments)
bpos: Lighthouse BPO's

My orders have really slowed down recently and I emailed my AM there to see what is up. My last to BPO's were pretty difficult and I had to get extensions, so I was wondering if I was blacklisted even though I did technically turn them in on time. They emailed me back and told me that they had been really slow lately. Just curious if anyone else had the same thing going on or if I was special. Also, has anyone ever received an REO listing from these guys? Its no big deal if they don't for me, I just (4 comments)
bpos: Dangit! I missed another BPO!
- 02/04/08 05:28 PM
Okay, I promise I am not THAT technologically challenged! I am registered with Market To Market for BPO's and this company is near impossible to log on, remember the crazy password and then, get this - I couldn't figure out how to accept the interior order. Doh! There goes $75 out the door for me! The blast was taken by some other poor soul who is up at 1130pm surfing the net. I still can't figure out how to accept the order. I see that i've had 20 potential orders through and only been able to accept two from this company. (5 comments)
bpos: BPO's

I am so excited!! I got my first three BPO orders!! Yeah!!! I signed up with (no kidding) about 75 different BPO/REO companies because you never know what company covers what area. Some applications were pretty easy, while others were tedious at best. My main question I would like to know is there anyone out there who is doing these on a regular basis? Most of these companies that send the orders send them to probably 50 other agents in the area, and it is a first come, first serve kind of deal. You snooze, you lose. So basically, I've probably (6 comments)
