ORLANDO, Fla. --- Ashton Woods Homes reported it is offering an $8,000 Ashton Woods Homes stimulus grant to all new home buyers in the Orlando and Tampa Bay regions.

Michael Roche, vice president of sales and marketing for Ashton Woods Homes in Orlando and Tampa, said the $8,000 stimulus applies to all new home buyers, whether or not they qualify for the $8,000 U.S. federal tax credit that ends Nov. 30.

“We announced our stimulus grant because a number of home buyers are worried their homes won’t be completed in time to qualify for the $8,000 U.S. tax credit,” Roche said.

“In addition, the federal tax credit only applies to new home buyers. The $8,000 Ashton Woods Homes stimulus grant applies to all home buyers,” he said.

Ashton Woods Homes builds single-family homes and town homes in seven Orlando-area communities and six in the Tampa Bay region.

ORLANDO, Fla. – NAI Realvest recently completed five lease agreements totaling 8,623 square feet of office space at The Citadel located at 5950 Hazeltine National Drive in southeast Orlando.

Senior Associate Mary Frances West, CCIM negotiated the agreements representing the landlord, Citadel Partners, Ltd., based at The Villages.  

Arlington, Va.-based Longboat HR Services signed a new long-term lease for suite 520 with 2,248 square feet;     Victoria’s Secret Stores, LLC renewed its lease of suite 305 with 1,711 square feet, Cottingham & Butler Limited renewed its lease of 1,058 square feet, Noresco, LLC renewed its lease for suite 510 with 1,010 square feet and Orlando-based Global Options Group, Inc. expanded from its existing 10,053 square feet at The Citadel with an expansion lease of 2,596 square feet.  Alan Gooch and Wendy Brown of Tizon represented Global Options.

NAI Realvest was given the management and leasing representation of the property in March of this year when the occupancy was at 83 percent and it is now 92 percent. West leads the leasing team at The Citadel.

ORLANDO, Fla. --- Lennar will host luncheons for area Realtors in Orlando, Mount Dora, and Viera to unveil new Realtor incentives and plans to appeal to first-time home buyers hoping to take advantage of the $8,000 federal tax credit before the Nov. 30 deadline.

Mark Metheny, president of Lennar’s Central Florida Division, said the luncheons, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., will be held on Oct. 27 at Wall Street Cantina, 19 N. Orange Ave.  in downtown Orlando and at Stoneybrook Hills Clubhouse, 6400 Stoneybrook Hills Parkway in Mount Dora.   On Oct. 29 the luncheon will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.  and at Heritage Isle Clubhouse, 6800 Legacy Blvd., Viera, FL 32940.

Area Realtors and brokers are invited to the free luncheons and if they attend one of the luncheons they will receive a $2,500 bonus certificate to use if they sell and close a home by Nov. 24, Metheny said.

The deadline to qualify for the $8,000 tax credit is Nov. 30, said Michael Roche, vice president of sales and marketing for Ashton Woods Homes in the Orlando region.

Roche said ready-to-move-in homes will be ready in time for the Tax credit deadline at Wickham Park town homes, The Enclave at Berkshire Park, Thornhill, Lakeside Condominiums and the Lakes of Windermere, all in the Windermere area and at Savannah Park at Heathrow in Lake Mary.

In Windermere off S.R. 535, two new ready-to-move-in homes at both Wickham Park and Thornhill, are priced from $229,900.   One move-in ready condominium at Lakeside Condominiums is priced from $119,900. One single family home is ready at The Cove at the Lakes of Windermere.

Michael Roche, vice president of sales and marketing for Ashton Woods Homes in the Orlando region, said new single family homes at McCormick Woods, priced from $167,900 will range in size from 1,530 square feet of living space to 3,436 square feet.

Roche said both model homes offer four bedrooms. One model with 2,311 square feet of space, offers three baths and a three car garage.    

A second model home, with 2,688 square feet, offers a den, game room and three-and-a-half baths.
