JBG Backs Away From Condos

After breaking ground in early January 2011 on a well publicized 125 unit condominium project named District Condos, JBG Co. broke the news today that the project on 14th and S streets NW will become apartments instead.
In a partnership with Grosvenor, JBG plans a mixed use development that includes 18,000 SF of ground floor retail space. No retail tenants have yet been announced.

New Logan Circle DC Project of One Bedroom Condo Units
The guys at Lock 7 Development are back with a new project in Logan. You may remember their 1221 12th Street project in NW that sold out quickly in 2010 (photo above). The spaces offered good construction quality, thoughtful finishes and the custom features that make spaces unique. 
Now Patrick Conway and David Gorman have acquired the building at the corner of 12th and Rhode Island and plan to convert it to 7-8 condo units similar to those at 1221 12th.
Renovations will begin in November.
