Have you ever had one of those days?  Tuesday morning was my one of those days.  The day started out full of hope and promise.  It was a sunny day, a little cool, but it's always so nice to show houses when the sun is out.  I was all dressed up with my new shoes on and looking pretty smart, if I do say so myself.  The clients were two women looking for a property that could be turned into a group home.  It promised to be an easy sale, and the investor I work with was actually doing the buying … (2 comments)

I love living in East Goshen and Spring is undoubtedly the loveliest time of the year here!  I don't know if it was the record breaking snow or the severity of the winter, but this spring, East Goshen is really showing off it's Spring colors!
This tree sits next to a lovely bed and breakfast on Chester Road in East Goshen.  The Tory Inne was originally the Goshenville General Store and Post Office and is currently listed for sale and was built in the spring of 1800!  The property is listed with Weichert Realtors.

Thankful Thursday, 4/8/10, Cultural References - 04/08/10 09:34 AM
I just started a new novel this morning entitled Best Friends, by Martha Moody.  In it there's a reference to a college roommate who grew up in Guatemala without the benefit of television.  The book has a line that reads "this left her, as she was the first to point out, with No Cultural References".  
When you think about it, we do share loads of cultural references from things we hear on television.  It is, as the book suggests, a kind of shorthand... a means of communication.  Think about Seinfeld.  There's a gold mine of shorthand that we all use … (17 comments)

Thankful Thursday, 4/1/10 No April Fools Here! - 04/01/10 09:31 AM
I can't believe it's April 1.  After a harrowing beginning of the week which concluded with my older son being taken by ambulance on Tuesday for severe dehydration from his college campus to a hospital in Allentown, yesterday, the last day of March, passed in a blur.  I sat down to write my Thankful Thursday post and was shocked to see we are in a new month!  Max is at a sleepover, so I had no one to trick me with an April Fool's Day joke.  No one, at least, if you don't count the pile of dirty clothes my husband … (19 comments)
