Visit Sacramento Museums and Zoo FREE Saturday February 5, 2011! - 01/31/11 06:58 PM
Have you often thought about visiting some of Sacramento's many wonderful museums or our great zoo, but you just haven't gotten around to it?  Or you have several children and you fear that parking and admission will be too expensive?
Well, mark this Saturday February 5 on your calendar!  This is Sacramento Museum Day, and admission and parking are free from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., including the Sacramento Zoo.
Most of the museums will be open only until 5:00 p.m., so leave yourself enough time to see the exhibits before closing.

Sometimes we get so busy that we don’t take time to relax and enjoy ourselves (at least it happens to me).
This last 30 days or so have been hectic ones, with sick relatives needing attention, out-of-state guests staying with us, three separate late Christmas celebrations in January, and a transaction from hell that has hit a dozen or so bumps along the way – some big and some not-so-big.  This deal was supposed to close in mid-December, and although all final docs have finally been signed and everything was supposedly approved, funding has now been held up while the lender … (9 comments)
