Now is the time to sell your home in the Sacramento CA area! I have written about the change in the market in the Sacramento CA area, but I still hear people on the news and consumers that I talk to who believe that we have not yet reached the bottom of the real estate market. Now is a great time to sell your Sacramento County home! A couple of years ago when the market had really been diving consistently, there were many homes on the market and not many buyers. Now that the buyers are out looking for homes, there are few on the market and each home that comes up for sale receives multiple offers if it is priced properly. The Sacramento real estate market has stabilized Have you heard news reports about the housing market continuing to be depressed? That sales or prices are down? There are a lot of news stories about the "terrible" real estate market, and the fact that since Sacramento has such a high unemployment rate, the market here must be awful. There are a lot of news stories about the "terrible" real estate market, and the fact that since Sacramento has such a high unemployment rate, the market here must be awful. As I have mentioned in previous posts, especially those with market reports, Sacramento County is a diverse area, with some very different neighborhoods, and communities like Fair Oaks where the neighborhoods are such a mix that it can be difficult to gather meaningful comparables for someone not familiar with the community. For example on my street, there are a few upper market tract homes at one end, then a mix of old and new, huge and tiny on my block.
