Nothing's much better than being adopted by a cat!
Throughout my life, I have been the person to whom people bring cats that they have rescued from dangerous places, or ones they couldn't keep.  And somehow, cats have also found their way to our house and adopted us as their new parents. Jon has become as much a cat person as I am (although we both love dogs too).
