Our inventory is on the rise, and we need to lower prices and sell some homes in Waynesville, NC. There have been 19 homes sold in May to date, taking an average of 194 days to sell. Waynesville's inventory of homes for sale is, as mentioned, on the increase. There were 514 homes for sale on April 26, and today (May 26th) we have 553 homes on the market.

Three sales have been recorded for Maggie Valley, NC so far this month. It is taking a very long time to sell a home in Maggie Valley, NC, if you consider the 3 homes that sold were on the market an average of 286 days. Selling prices were an average of 7.34% less than listing prices.

As reported on March 2, Haywood County, NC residential real estate sales in February 2008 increased in number compared to January (January = 31 sales; February = 45 sales). Average selling prices were lower than the previous five months, as were the average asking prices. Here is a 'picture' of the numbers for February, 2008 compared to numbers for the prior five months.
