twitter: G-Rated Tools To Feed My Constant Cravings. - 06/28/10 04:24 AM
This is not a brand new tool, but I just stumbled into it early this morning. My first video below was a 'quickie' but as time goes by this morning, I continue to think of many different uses for Google Search Stories. Adding interest to my blog is always appealing to me.
It's no secret I am a huge Twitter fan (because of learning so much more on Twitter than anywhere else). My 5 new Twitterface pages (link takes you to the 5 live links) are used to promote horses, Ocala, provide live-feed Kentucky Derby tweets, etc., and to add interest. … (3 comments)

twitter: Look What I Found in the Midst of My Moving Boxes! - 05/18/10 10:17 AM
Aside from finding my 'Cowboy' treasures in the few boxes containing the only possessions I care to keep, it is always fun to find and share new goodies I stumble upon on the internet. This morning I tried TwitHut out on Twitter, and while it is not necessarily integral to your real estate marketing/social media efforts, you never know when a nice Twitter signature might come in handy. There are 3 different styles and a nice choice of colors.

twitter: Yesterday is history*Tomorrow's a mystery*Today is a gift.. that's why it's called the present (Cowgirl Wisdom) - 09/05/09 11:44 PM
My personal real estate website, Bucking the Real Estate Trend, is in the process of being updated by the Real Estate Tomato gurus, so my attention at the moment has been diverted to many issues ... such as figuring out which IDX provider I should try (this time), and how best to present my 'tell it like it is' market reports now that I am on a Mac.
Therefore, while it may appear I have been somewhat remiss in my 'blogging' in order to pull all the pieces together and 'freshen up,' all the while I have been utilizing videos, Domus, … (11 comments)

The title of Bob's post (reblogged below) is:

twitter: Panacea Coffeehouse, Cafe & Roastery in Waynesville ... Perfect Place to Drink Coffee and Network. - 08/23/09 08:43 PM
Panacea Coffeehouse, Cafe & Roastery is a great, convenient, not to mention aromatic, place in the Frog Level part of Waynesville to meet up with friends, family or new ‘peeps’ from  Twitter. The address is 66 Commerce Street, Waynesville.
Wayne Porter, who I met on Twitter, invited me to a networking get-together at Panacea last week, so I met new people from here in Haywood County, and also new friends from the Asheville area – - in real life.

Looking forward to the next meeting.

twitter: You Might Be Addicted to Social Media If You Only Know Your Friends By Their Twitter Addresses. - 08/14/09 11:29 PM
What does Social Media have to do with real estate?
Everything!
Social Media and technology are changing at the speed of light. Every single day there are new things to learn, use, and apply in my business. Hmmm, do I want to practice foreclosures and short-sales [NO!] or learn more about social media, technology and marketing to enhance what I offer my clients? Social Media allows me to ENGAGE with my readers, Twitter friends, business friends, realtor-friends, Facebook friends, etc. Social Media allows my clients, readers, friends, business associates, and potential clients to get to know me and to engage with … (6 comments)

twitter: Did I Tell You The Winner of the 2009 Kentucky Derby Twittered Me? - 05/12/09 08:28 PM
Mine That Bird, the winner of the 2009 Kentucky Derby, has nothing to do with real estate except that he can cover it very quickly. However, yesterday 'he' did something that sent me bucking and kicking around my cabin at a very ridiculous time of the morning.
Short history: My new horse site, Horsealicious, went ‘live’ recently, and this is my first week of posting on the site. Twitter is the social media site where I spend a good bit of time, learning, learning, learning, and meeting many brilliant people. Many of my Twitter followers are horse people, as I have … (13 comments)

twitter: Visible Tweets ... Could Be Fun! - 05/05/09 11:50 PM

Here's something new (to me) that I stumbled into yesterday on Twitter (I used #realestate for the example on the link below):
Visible Tweets
Visible Tweets, of course, is Twitter-based, and "is a visualization of Twitter messages designed for display in public spaces."
Twitter isn't for everyone, and certainly much more than a public display opportunity, but here's an interesting article for those who remain curious: The Promise of Twitter.

twitter: Marketing Nuggets Via Jonathan Gunson's Traffic Cafe, Featuring Seesmic's Loic. - 05/02/09 11:35 PM
Mentor to the masses and a virtual friend of mine, Jonathan Gunson, creator of The Traffic Cafe, has outdone himself with this Traffic Cafe program featuring Loic of Seesmic. Jonathan and Loic discuss Seesmic, Twitter and Facebook;  i.e., social media. The New York Times wrote about Loic and Seesmic (now adding Facebook) in yesterday’s (May 2) edition, which you may read here.

Creative villians are taking control of me at the moment, and here is something creative, not naughty, and different than real estate to look at (YAY!) - - a mosaic made up of just a few of my Twitter friends.
Twitter is a great social medium for me, and followers are growing every day. The networking is spectacular, the latest and greatest information comes hot off the presses constantly, and for me, the educational benefits are superb.

twitter: Oh Santa, What Pink Flamingos You Have! - 01/03/09 11:57 PM

Driving up Sheepback Mountain Friday evening for dinner with Al and Shirley Wilde and their daughter Viola, Santa darted in from of my vehicle, obviously anxious to head back to Florida! Confused by the brown ground cover and the number of homes on the market in his price range, he said he would be back when it warmed up to find his mountain hideaway.
