I'm a DONOR! I've been donating blood since I was "old enough" and decided to try! I was a senior at Armwood High School in Seffner, FL when I first donated blood. What a feeling to know I was helping someone out. How exciting to know I could be the very person who could help out a friend, family member or stranger who needed my blood in an emergency! Wow! That was all it took. Well, that and the opportunity to "get out of class" for an hour at the time! This was the beginning of my dedication to donate.

Oak Valley is a quiet town-home community nestled beneath grandfather oaks. This community was built between 2003-2004 by Rottlund Homes. This neighborhood has one entrance to to prevent an excessive flow of traffic.

Think before you speak. We've heard or preached (to someone else) this exact phrase countless times. Will this bring value to the listener? Is it gossip or negative? Is it kind? If you're not sure, reconsider before opening your mouth. Once something is said, it's too late and can't be taken back.

Do you live in Hillsborough County? Are you in a flood zone? Do you know? If so, when was the last time you checked? Find out what determines a Flood Zone as defined by FEMA(Federal Emergency Management Agency).
Residents in Hillsborough County can check their "flood zone status" online by using the Hillsborough County Flood Map. This site enables you to key in your address or folio number for an updated map of your area to confirm your property location and flood zone level.

This October will mark the first Hillsborough County Fair in its "new home" of Valrico. After years of debating a permanent home, organizers are thrilled to implement the upcoming festivities for this year's event. In years past, the Fair has been hosted at the State Fair Grounds, Raymond James Stadium and Winthrop.The new-permanant location can be found off S.R. 60 and Sydney Road.

I know I'm not the only one who "looks" at the business cards left on the kitchen counter while your client finishes walking through the house...again! I always take a quick look to see who was there before me.

You may have seen this before in email but it just struck me as funny today and I thought I would share the laugh! ENJOY...
A city councilman, Mark Easton, had a beautiful view of the east mountains, until a new neighbour purchased the lot below his house and built. Apparently, the new home was 18 inches higher than the ordinances would allow, so Mark Easton, mad about his lost view, went to the city to make sure they enforced the lower roof line ordinance. My first job was as a cashier at Kmart in Brandon...I loved it! I was only 16 years old. The first month "on the job" I was voted "Employee of the Month" and was surprised as well as very proud. I loved my job...loved the people there...had a fresh attitude upon arriving regardless of the way I felt on the inside... IT WAS CONTAGIOUS!!! I have sense then finished with my schooling years, had a few jobs, gotten married & had kids. Life has changed a bit... I really do have a "life" outside of work to think about regularly. Farmer's Almanac Predictions for Southeastern States - Weather in 2007
As I read through a Farmer's Almanac yesterday, I was completely entertained by the PREDICTION for this year's weather during hurricane season in Florida for some reason. I'll be more entertained to see how much of it is accurate... It didn't offer multiple devastating storms for Florida, but the days/weeks we're "predicted" to have these storms are conveniently-inconvenient for me personally.
I am NOT superstitious but being today is Friday the 13th...why not post the few tropical storms predicted for entertainment...So, for those of you living in Florida... MARK YOUR CALENDARS for the following dates:

Well, I've hit my 4-month Anniversary as announced by real-live-friend in Clearwater, Cyndee Haydon! However, she didn't mention she's got almost 3X as many points as I do!! Wow...excitement for her, envy for me, a party for all because SHE gets 10% of my points on AR! (like she needs them)
Anyhow...it's been a wild ride once I saddled up! It took me some "time" to join the fun..."get it" and realize this really was a good thing! For the last 4 months I've learned alot and continue to learn more... Here's a few THANK YOU's to some of my new friendships!!
