Something really fun to do once every 3rd Sunday of the month, is the Long Beach Antique Market at Veterans Stadium.  There's over 800 dealers with everything from shabby to chic, deco, vintage, you name it.  Start early.
From the San Diego Freeway (405) take the Lakewood Blvd NORTHBOUND exit. Turn right on Lakewood for 1/2 mile to Conant St. Turn right at Conant St for one and a half blocks to the Veterans Stadium parking lot. Entrance on the left

To all of you young (and new)  fathers out there, and even you not so young fathers, enjoy!!! The joy and fun you'll have raising your precious little girl will be priceless and a memory you will always cherish.  Just try not to be too much of an over-achiever as you'll see in this video clip.

Bull Riding at LA County Fair - 09/07/07 12:01 PM
Also wanted to mention the Professional Bull Riders will be at the LA County Fair in Pomona this month.  September 26th, 9:00 pm.  There will also be monster trucks and other fun as well.
   
  Good Ole' fashion fun for the whole family.  You should go, it's alot of fun, especially if you've never been.   Check it out!

Friends are always asking me if there are rodeo's still around.  After I stop laughing I say "heck yes!"  Then they ask me where they are.  I tell them all over from Northern Ca to Southern Ca.  So if you're one of those interested in catching one, I'll give you the rest of the schedule for this year, though things are winding down for the year (the Circuit Finals will be in Norco in Nov) there are  still a few up and coming:
