Dual Open House Event in The Preserve @ Dove Mountain, Marana
Today, Saturday, April 28, from 10-1 and then 1-4, I will be hosting two Preserve @ Dove Mountain, Marana open houses!  The Preserve is a beautiful, quiet area with room for about 650 gated homes, located near the gateway to Dove Mountain, Marana at the base of the Tortolita Mountains.  Expansive views are the norm, and most of the homes have been built after 2005.  The area is served by Marana School District.

Community-wide garage sales - I love 'em!  My luck generally runs to finding only baby clothes when I randomly stop to peruse what looks like an active garage sale.  Being that my kiddies are all grown, I like to see what little knick-knacks and odd pieces of furniture folks have instead!

Nothing better than dozens of garage sales all packed together!  It's a great way to spend a sunny morning in beautiful Arizona, and you might find a bargain as well.

"Move-in ready".  Let's face it, there's always things to fix, details that need attention, and preventative maintenance required when buying a new home.
I like how Chrissy puts it.  "...start your maintenance early, ahem, that means now. Now, don't get nervous, it's not all work, work, work. Doing your home maintenance bit by bit is a great way to accomplish it all, but over time so that there's plenty of room for relaxing too. Also, preventative maintenance now, will reduce the liklihood of unwlecome (many times costly) surprises down the road."

I brought the traditions to my own family and now with my children at 32 to 17, they can get "harder" when you don't have the darling little ones to play games with, etc.

So, some of my favorite investors just closed on a home flip they managed last week, and promptly wanted to "do it again".  I am a fan of working with them -- they take a run-down home in a neighborhood, fix and clean and stock with appliances and make it move-in ready...at affordable prices.  Seems like a win-win.
