I was reading about the latest contest this morning by Bob Stewart,
Do What You Should for 7000 Points and More Business and started doing a little reflecting on my own blogging patterns. This month marks two years since I started blogging, my first on June 6, 2012.
I keep a little chart of my real estate transactions and mark where my leads come from. Just this year alone, between 40-50% of my leads have come in from my blogging work. I just got a call night before last on a person reading … (5 comments)

Things to do in Marana: a Block Party!
This sounds fun -- today, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., a new business is having a party in nearby Marana, AZ.
Open to the public, come welcome "The Station" to the community at Wade and Silverbell Road in Continental Ranch! There will be a ribbon cutting ceremonies for several businesses opening on that intersection including Anytime Fitness and Fowler Chiropractic!
The Station will be serving a varied menu including steaks, seafood and burgers. There will be lots of TV's to support a sports bar atmosphere, as well as karaoke and music … (2 comments)

Backyard Getaway? Or do You Need to Getaway from your Backyard?
Looking at homes for sale in Tucson in many of the affordable communities, I see a trend towards dirt as often as I see a landscaped backyard.
Perhaps having to get permission from HOA's deters some folks, and others have it on their "someday" budget.
Inventory is down in Tucson, now -- less than three months' worth -- but I still find it amazing that home sellers often don't take in consideration the value of a modest back yard.

Is This House For Rent??? Online Scams - Beware of Them!
Yesterday I held a home open in a nearby community for a fellow Long Realty associate. While it was open, two interested parties arrived with "rental ads" in their hands.
After contacting the listing agent, and she in turn the owner, the whole matter was turned in to our Tech Department at our Long Realty Head Office here in Tucson. The listing agent also contacted the site that published the "rental".
This home, along with photos, MLS description, owner name and address was being publized as a fully-furnished … (6 comments)

Looking for a Bit of Space in your Homes for Sale Tucson Search?
In showing properties these past couple of weeks, and in holding open houses, I've become aware of a recent trend that might include you, the reader.
I'm finding more and more folks just want a bit of space, so land around their properties. It can be within city limits, or even a rural drive - but the most common request I've had lately is for a bit of privacy.
I held this lovely home open yesterday in the Oro Valley Country Club Subdivision.
