Sunrise on Black Friday in Gilroy California from Vegas Bob
Good morning everybody and yes today is the number one shopping day of the year. Vegas Bob will not be in any shopping malls today because he doesn't like crowds. On my drive to Las Vegas yesterday from California the sun was rising in Gilroy California, Garlic Capital of the World. The traffic was heavy so I was only driving around 30 miles per hour. Some times it's the simple things in life or a drive in the country that help us remember the beauty that surrounds us. I was driving back from Alamo Nevada when the sun was setting and as I looked out the passengers window I saw a beautiful reflection on the water. God displays his beauty for Robert Swetz in a moving way! I have traveled many places around the world and photographed God's beauty but when I came across this scene I was very moved. God displays his beauty to all people and so many of us miss the change to take it in. "Nature at it's finest created by God" When I came across this moment close to the High Sierra's in California around Mammoth Lakes, I could not pass up this beautiful picture. The white clouds between the blue sky with the mountains in the back ground, and the pine trees nestled between the wild yellow flowers and the mountains.
