Buddha Statues that date back approx. 2000 years by: Robert Swetz These two photographs on this post were taken in Myanmar (Burma) May 2008 at a temple on Inlay Lake. These statues are very old and very valuable and are watched and protected by many monks within the temple. The statues above are hand carved from marble and the one below from wood.
