Was Robert Swetz the California Kid before he became Vegas Bob?
Robert Swetz was born in the Midwest and when he was a teenager moved to Portland Oregon and lived there off and on for 5 years. The photo (above) was taken in Santa Cruz in 2016 and the photo (below) was taken in Portland Oregon in 1979.
In 1982 Robert Swetz lived and worked in downtown San Francisco and in 1983 he lived in Santa Barbara and also worked as a glazier in the construction trade.

Robert Vegas Bob Swetz went for a long walk around a park in Morgan Hill California and every time I see cows, I think of Patricia Kennedy because I know how much she likes them.
Well as I was walking I thought I would snap a couple photos for Patricia Kennedy and write a post about my adventure. And I think this cow straight (above) might have charged Vegas Bob if there had no fence between us ;o/

Vegas Bob is headed back to Morgan Hill California
After spending several months in Alaska Vegas Bob will finally be headed back to Las Vegas Nevada around the 2nd week of April.
There is some business that I have to take care in Las Vegas and then I will be headed back to Morgan Hill California.
Vegas Bob will be either landing a job at Apple Campus 2 or another project in Silicon Valley California.
Reason for my madness is I will be purchasing property around the outer edges of the Bay Area, approx 1 hour drive.

Several days ago after spending several hours in the lodge at Morgan Hill California working the Internet, I was surprised by such beauty.
As I walked out my head slowly turned to the right and "WOW" ... this bright red and blue colored sunset sky was just staring me in the face.
I quickly grabbed my iPhone and snapped this beautiful photo, and within 10 seconds the bright colors started to fade.

Unbelievable ... Alaska Bob aka Vegas Bob finally was able to get Internet service where he is staying in Morgan Hill California.
Saturday Robert Swetz spent around 5 hours at the beaches of BIG SUR, relaxing and hiking around.
In fact VB hiked down some cliffs that other travelers were scared to hike down.
Which gave VB the whole beach to enjoy with his higher power ... God ;o)
As I sat there in privacy, I spoke with my higher power working on which direction he wanted me to go.

For anyone that really knows Alaska Bob aka Robert 'Vegas Bob' Swetz, they know he never stays in one place very long.
In fact Robert Swetz has been traveling around the world since he was only 14 years of age, and still continues to travel.

As Robert Swetz aka Vegas Bob strolled to his parked car in Thousand Trails RV campground in Morgan Hill California at 12:00 midnight July 31st, he noticed a HUGE cloud of smoke 10 feet from his car.
So VB quickly walked over to his car and there was an old large tree trunk about 6 feet long on the ground, with hot amber about 2 feet long inside the tree.
VB quickly jumped into his car and drove only minutes to the guard gate to alert them.

Well the count down is finally over and Vegas Bob will finally be flying on a jet plane tomorrow afternoon.
I wanted to get off this last post before I left because I don't know how many days it will be before I can launch off another post.
Please keep in mind that Vegas Bob did bring his cameras and laptop, so when he does get some free time he will be sharing some fresh photos of The Last Frontier ;o)

You will never guess where "Vegas Bob" is headed in the next several hours?
VB was rolling through his groups at ActiveRain and featuring his favorite posts. Low and behold, VB came across this great post of a FREE musical event posted by Michelle on the Santa Cruz Boardwalk.
VB has been staying in Morgan Hill for the last several months which is only approx 30 miles from Santa Cruz.
So that being said, VB will be at the Eddie Money concert tonight followed by the up and coming FREE concert events over the weekends in Santa Cruz ;o)

It's been almost 2 months now since Vegas Bob has been in front of a laptop or desk computer ;o(
He have been posting blogs at Activerain from a old IPhone 4, ten plus times per week, moderating 25 groups and leaving 20 comments per day to AR members.
Well now it has become worse for Vegas Bob ...
He just moved in with some coworkers huge RV trailer in Morgan Hill by the wine vineyards .
When VB and friends are in the trailer and RV park grounds, there is "ZERO" Internet device and "ZERO" phone service.

The chips are down when it comes to Vegas Bob being able to have Internet.
Vegas Bob took some advice from Activerain members when he didn't have Internet for over 6 days and we to the Morgan Hill Library today.
Because VB doesn't have proof of residence in Morgan Hill, the library (will not) give him a card.
So VB asked if he could use the computer at the MH Library and someone at the front desk said it would be $4.00 dollars for 2 hours, OMG ... This is outrageous!

Having a Home is very important, when's the last time you roughed it?
For the last couple of weeks Vegas Bob has been roughing it in Morgan Hill California, staying in a friends RV trailer.
Around 5 days per week we did not have access to a shower or toilet because be had to move the RV from the trailer park to a more remote location.
So Vegas Bob had to join the 24 hour fitness in Morgan Hill.

Today I am one "Happy Camper" and here's why ;o)
Today is the first time that I have had Internet in 6 long days. I have been posting blogs to ActiveRain from my cell phone and this was really getting old.
For the next 12 hours I will have Internet and then Tuesday after work I will be stopping at a library in Morgan Hill to find out if I can use Internet there.
