As some of you may know by now Robert (Vegas Bob) Swetz is licensed to sell Real Estate in Nevada. Vegas Bob has also worked in the construction industry off and on for 40 years, and VB has been a photographer, artist, writer for 40 years.
VB was going to retire in the next couple years but really feels he's not finished and would like to work another 5 years before retiring.

Las Vegas Nevada is finally going to light up with new construction projects after a very long time. The drawing above is a new construction project that will be starting around Spring of 2014. This project is located on Las Vegas Blvd where the famous STARDUST use to stand.
The LINQ (High Roller) Ferris Wheel is coming along, which will be the largest Ferris Wheel in the World. The High Roller is located behind the Flamingo Hotel & Casino, and will hopefully be complete before Christmas of 2013.

Robert Vegas Bob Swetz posted a blog with several photographs around one month ago on the Marriott Grand Chateau. Marriott Corporation sent a email to the construction company he was working with stating that some of the photographs and information in the blog should have been discussed with corporate first.
Robert Swetz deleted the post he had written through Activerain connected to FaceBook, Twitter and other networks. Vegas Bob would like to apologize to Marriott with this post and photo, and he does understand their concern.

Well it's true ... Sometimes the truth hurts!
Most of the Real Estate inventory in Las Vegas was purchased at the end of 2012. I had a very difficult time finding homes for clients because there were (Bidding Wars) going up against investors.
Now because of this the home prices in Las Vegas have increased dramatically. Problem is the homes that are being purchased are not worth what their selling for.
The banks are still sitting on around 40,000 to 50,000 homes (Shadow Inventory) owned by the banks that haven't even hit the market in Las Vegas Nevada.
