Beautiful Palmer Alaska by Robert Swetz
If you drive north on Glenn hwy around 20 miles you will pass Eagle River and then around 15 miles north of Eagle river you will come to come to Palmer north east and Wasilla north.
Palmer is a small town with a low population with homes surrounded by HUGE mountains.
This photo above was taken off old Glenn hwy by the old steel bridge and in this area by the Knik River you can park your RV's by the river to camp, boat and fish.

Robert "Vegas Bob" Swetz arrived in beautiful Alaska several days ago, and wow how nice it is to be back.
I will be spending over one week in Anchorage, Soldotna, Homer, Palmer, Wasilla and other wonderfully beautiful places. I have been taking many new photographs and this is just one of them. It is very difficult for me to load large numbers of photos on the AR network so if you follow me at FaceBook you will see more.

Hello everyone ... Vegas Bob and family just want to wish everyone a wonderful Labor Day!
I have been traveling all through Alaska now for the last 2 years from Homer, Anchorage, Fairbanks, Hope, Wasilla, Palmer, Seward, Kenai, Girdwood and other towns and one of my favorite places in Alaska is HOMER because it's at the end of the road. Vegas Bob finally enjoys a day of sunshine in Alaska
Finally Vegas Bob aka Robert Swetz and his wife Lin spent the day together that was filled with sunshine and beauty.
Vegas Bob took many great photographs with his new camera around Palmer, Lake Lucile and some other lakes around Wasilla Alaska.
This photograph below is a mirror reflection of a chain of lakes only minutes north of Wasilla.

Robert Swetz continues to get excited about his next venture coming up soon to ALASKA, but he's a little concerned.
Robert's wife mentioned that it's been raining 90% of the time for the last 3 weeks and he is hoping that it clears up a bit while he visits his family and fishes halibut in Homer Alaska.

Robert 'Vegas Bob' Swetz once again is studying and has his nose in the book of the Alaska State Law portion for real estate. Robert was studying in spring of 2016 but was side tracked and unsure if he wanted to get licensed in another state to sell real estate.

Here is one photo of many from the 5 acre parcel that Vegas Bob is interested in purchasing at Trapper Creek close to Palmer Alaska.
I am in Las Vegas now preparing my belongings and then going to Silicon Valley on Monday of next week. While preparing for work at Apple Campus 2, I will be spending time at the beaches of Santa Cruz.

I have been searching for vacant land and a possible home in Alaska for a great price.
I have not found a home that I really like and have not really decided where exactly I would like to live in Alaska when I retire.
Robert Swetz did find a wonderful vacant 2 acre lot 5 miles north of Homer Alaska in 2015 that I bought and paid in full.
And now I have fallen in love with another area for a future retirement home.

The temperatures have been heating up in Anchorage, Wasilla, Palmer, Seward, Homer and surrounding areas of Alaska.Temperatures have been reaching around 50-55 degrees and the sun his very hot around the late afternoon hours.
What I like so much about Anchorage and other cities is drive 5-10 miles out of the any cities in Alaska and you are in beautiful natural areas like the ones in these photos.

The Aurora Borealis (Northern Light) in the state of Alaska are by far some of the best to view, video and photograph.
Here are just a couple of photos of just how beautiful the Northern Lights are in Alaska.
And viewing the lights in person is so much more breath-taking than any photograph or video.
