Published on Feb 6, 2016 The loss of Selena Annette Mullenax at Point Woronzof in Anchorage Alaska really bothered Robert Swetz.
Robert Swetz viewed a special about the 80+ Statues that were constructed at the Cook Inlet by the Ted Stevens International Anchorage Airport.
Robert Swetz aka Vegas Bob drove over to Point Woronzof to take some photographs and videos. Only to find out later that Selena Annette Mullenax and another young man had been 'Murdered' close to the Statues.

Sad News and the loss of Dan Weldon during the Indy Race in Las Vegas Nevada ... ;o( ... Robert (Vegas Bob) Swetz hasn't watched television in over 10 years, and doesn't watch any news. Photograph of "The World Trade Towers" from Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island
I came across this old photograph taken from Ellis Island with New York City and the "The World Trade Towers" in the back ground.
This photograph was taken around 1982 when I spent one week in Manhattan with John Robert Powers Modeling Agency, and I have no idea who this goofy looking guy is that jumped into the photograph.

Robert Swetz is very sad because he didn't have the chance to say "Goodbye" to his Mother. I received a phone call yesterday from my sister saying our Mother's body was shutting down, and to wait a few days and see what happens.
Dorothy Swetz aka (Dorothy Gilbert) was a very loving mother and shall be very missed by all of us. She had been fighting "Cancer" for around 35 years and we all wondered how she continued to be so strong.

Where is the "Justice" in America? - Police Officer Brian Huff shot to death in the line of duty by: Robert Swetz
A very good friend of mine and co-worker lost his best friend Brian Huff to a shoot out in Detroit Michigan early Monday morning.
My friend grew up with Brian in Detroit and has known his since he was 5-6 years old.
Word has it Brian and 4 other police officers reported to a abandoned home after gun shoots were reported. Brain was the first to enter the home backed up by 3 rookies & another officer.

With all the Television, Movies, News Media, Magazines, Newspapers, etc., many people of this world have become like "Robots!"
So many people dress alike, think alike, act alike and so forth!
What ever happened to "Creativity?"
People of this "World" continue to let all these Corporate Companies "Brainwash" us, our families & friends. When are people going to realize "what's going on around here"?

This is not a very good sight to see and when I drove by I had to come back for a double take.
I came across this sight 30 miles south of Goldfield Nevada on Hwy 95 headed north towards Reno.
I really don't like when people put all this garbage on the sides of the roads and take away the natural look, but this may be an exception!

When newbies first join Activerain and other networks within the wonderful world of the web we are a little reserved, laid back and curious when posting and putting ourselves out there.
And once we start to put ourselves out there more and more in starts becoming more interesting and fun. We start to get to know people and acquaintances, friends, business partners and more.

Will the United states go into another Depression?
As everyone knows, things are not looking real good for the United States. I don't like bad news and everyone else is tired of hearing about our economy.
But facts are facts and we can't continue to look the other way. We the people need to take action an help find ways to help swing the country out of another depression.

This is not a misprint, Vegas Bob is feeling down and out today.
We can't all have a perfect day and this just isn't one of them for me. I have been very tired lately and it's been real hard for me to get any sleep because we have some friends from Myanmar (Burma) staying with us for quite some time.
I have also been very bored lately, I do become bored very easly. Yes Robert has weeknesses and I am willing to share them with others.

As everyone knows I went home for the holidays last weekend, a little late because of our retail businesses in Las Vegas.
I have not been home to see my family in many, many years. And it was a very happy visit because I met and saw my son Zach and this new little addition (to my sisters family). His name is Sebastian and he is the happiest cutest baby I have ever seen. He is 7 months old and everyone loves and spoils him, because he is the only baby within our families, all the power to him.

One of my friends at Active Rain gave me a great idea to maybe help bring our daughter Cherry (Zin Zin) to live with us in Las Vegas, Nevada - USA.
I have changed my Profile & Blog page and replaced my photo with our daughter Cherry's photo.
Some members don't know, but at the very top right of your home page it will show how many members are on-line and if you click on where it it has a number + On-line Now it will show photos of members that are logged on to Active Rain at that moment.

This is the latest update on Yumi (Cherry) coming to live with her mother in the United States.
We just received another letter from Homeland Security and the letter states the same thing as the other letters we have received from Homeland Security.
The letter states that they are reviewing the case and they won't tell us why or when this case will be resolved. This is very, very depressing news. Cherry's case was approved with Homeland Security October of 2005 and I have received almost 8 letters from Homeland Security stating the same comments in the last 3 years. … (20 comments)
