Another wonderful person I have turned to liking the State of California
All I ever here now is, let's go to the Beach or Redwoods in California. Sometimes I think I may have created a monster! Nu Nu is starting to love California like me.

The rugged coastline of California - by Robert Swetz
These photographs were taken at Trinidad Beach in California July of 2008. As you can see by all the large rocks, it is very rugged and beautiful with flowers and green plants every where.
In the photo below, I became very worried because my wife took off ahead of me and when I got down to the beach, I could not find her. If you look real close you can see her sitting up on a rock dressed in black about in the middle of the page.

My post before this one is quite sad so I wanted to follow it up with something nice.
This is Beautiful Mammoth Lakes in California around a 5 hour drive from Las Vegas, Nevada and not far from San Fransisco and Los Angeles.
It is a very beautiful place to vacation, boating, fishing and enjoying the fresh air and beauty in the Summer and snow skiing approx. 5 months out of the year because of the high elevation.

FASHION SHOW - Las Vegas Nevada is rated one of the top two shopped stores in the World.
There are people that come to Las Vegas Nevada just to shop at FASHION SHOW, why? Because it located right on Las Vegas Blvd, across from the Wynn Hotel and kitty corner to The Venetian Hotel. Another reason is because you never know who you may see at FASHION SHOW that is Famous.

I am posting this blog because Jessica was the first member of Active Rain that I was able to meet. And I drove around 700 miles to meet her and look at some property that she had listed in Ferndale California, very close to Fortuna and Eureka on the West Coast.
When I first met Jessica she wiped out her lab tap and we started looking at different properties. She was very excited to visit with me and she is a very warm hearted person.

This has to be one of the most different and beautiful Golf Courses I have ever seen.
Just 7 miles south west of Hurricane Utah is this Golf Course in the middle of these mountains with colors of bright red, greens, and other mineral deposits colors.
It is a eighteen hole Golf Course and to get to the greens you take Golf Carts down these winding roads and zig-zag back and forth to get to the next hole.

When visiting Lake Tahoe several months ago there were fires all over California and the sky was full of smoke and heat.
This Sunset photo through the trees was not doctored up. The sun actually looked like a Orange Ball because of all the smoke, heat and fires happening through the state.
I was very disappointed on my visit to Lake Tahoe because we could not even see across the lake at all the mountains. But I did get some very wonderful photos like this with many colors of Red & Orange.

west coast: Beautiful Sunset on Lake just out of Reno

Here is a sunset photograph of a lake just west of Reno. There is a fire burning up the mountain not to far from the lake. With approximately 100 firefighters camped out trying to contain the fire.
I pitched a tent anyway in the campground and waited to get this photograph. Being there was of course much more beautiful then the Photo. This photo was taken by Robert Swetz 7-16-2008 in California, just west of Reno.
