Waterford VA is unique. Not only in Virginia but in the US. Only 4 blocks long and 1 block wide surrounded by rolling meadows, vineyards, and treed hills this village founded in 1733 is a National Historic Landmark District, one of only three in the country. Waterford is beautiful.

I was out taking photos of the beautiful Little Rocky Run neighborhood of Clifton VA when I came across these twin fawns at the Twin Lakes Golf Course across the street.
This never happens. I have gotten 1 other decent deer photo in my life...they high tail it into the woods 99% of the time, with white flags flying.

In the line at the store, the cashier told an older woman that she should bring her own grocery bags because plastic bags weren't good for the environment. Bob: What is the difference between list price, sales price and appraised value? I want a thorough and long answer please. I am thinking about buying a home in Reston Virginia.
Steve Bachman: Bob, the list price is the seller's current advertised price for his property. The price that the seller sets could be at, above or below the property's market value.
In a buyer’s market, when prices are flat and/or falling and there's a lot of housing inventory available, you could reasonably expect to offer at or below the market value.

Tarara Winery just north of Leesburg Virginia off route 15 at Lucketts is a great place to visit day or night. Although we have yet to visit every Loudoun County winery, Tarara is one of our favorites.
First Tarara has a beautiful setting of mature trees, meadows and ponds...a great place to let the weekly tension evaporate. Second, they have put much thought into planning events that the community can enjoy. If your dog is showing signs of joint stiffness, ask the vet about glucosamine. Our rescue dog Penny Lane Bachman, has in layman's terms, frozen hips.
From past abuse or early onset arthritis, her back legs will stop alternating and she will hop like a rabbit.
This generally occurs after too much exercise or too much attempting to assert her dominance over her much larger daughter, our other dog Eleanor Rigby Bachman.
That vet suggested that we try giving her glucosamine. The results were amazing and fast. Within 2 days she was walking as normally as she can.
