Farm your niche market and cover all the happenings in your neighborhood
Bryan/College Station is a very unique place. The sister cities have most everything you’d find in a big city, but alternatively it’s got quite a bit you wouldn’t. What makes it so special is the amount of farms and food producers around. This area of Texas is one of the agricultural boons of the U.S., not to mention A&M University has some of the most premier agricultural researchers. We are surrounded by some of the freshest, healthiest meats and vegetables in Texas; that makes Bryan/College Station one of the best places to shop for food. Be it our farmers’ markets, (3 comments)
Bryan College Station Real Estate Market Report January 2010 - 02/26/10 09:43 AM
2009 was a rough year for most of us, whether we were in real estate, stocks, retail business... Real estate for January 2009 was down 24% in sales compared to the 2008. That was a scary start for the year. 2010 did not start off much different from 2009 but without an additional drop! January 2010 compared to January 2009 is only up 2% in sales. Being up 2% in sales is great, but remember we are comparing it to a year where we were down 24% from the previous year. Thankfully, we have all learned to cut back on our (0 comments)
The Value of Bryan/College Station Schools - 02/26/10 09:38 AM
Every Bryan College Station, Tx parent wants their child to be successful- to have a happy child hood, and grow up and be able to support their own family. No words can articulate the emotions a beaming parent feels when their child achieves every goal they set for themselves, and become a successful adult with children of their own. This is never easy; parenting is one of the most difficult things anyone can do, and trying to raise a child into a successful adult requires so much effort and affection. One of the most important things to consider when raising a (0 comments)
Are There REALLY Moving Expenses TOO? - 02/26/10 09:32 AM
Moving can be an incredibly stressful and expensive ordeal even in College Station, Tx. There are a ton of big and small expenses that sometimes add up to something unwieldy; the amount of labor involved is immense and tiring; there are so many things to keep track of, schedule, and reorganize- it's easy for something to be overlooked. After the obvious cost of buying a home, most people who are planning a move know they usually have to pay for a moving company or a rental truck. However, a lot of the other expenses are often forgotten; this, of course, can (0 comments)
Granite Counter Tops Worth it in College Station? - 02/26/10 09:28 AM
Have you ever wondered if your College Station home would look better with granite counter tops? Do you know how they would wear? How much would it cost? Of all the surfaces inside of the house, counter tops usually have to endure all the wear and tear. Anything you don't want laying around on the floor usually ends up on counter tops, and accidents like to happen when given enough time. Even worse, scratches and gouges can be eye magnets, but even so, remodeling can be difficult to think about sometimes. Home owners are sometimes daunted with the issue of remodeling: (1 comments)
College Station Homes With Unique Yard Art - 02/17/10 04:37 PM
Driving around College Station homes can be quite the fun expedition whether you're in the market for the new home or not. You never really know what you'll run into in this part of the Brazos county; Texas art and culture teems from every house, down every street, in ways that makes even the most gruff Texan smile and beam with pride. Texas art and culture is not bound to lone stars and rusted old tin either; just from driving around you can witness the rich history and peculiarity of its people and their varied interests. Many Texans actively try to (4 comments)
Susan, My husband Chris and I have been extremely impressed with Kathy Massey, our Century 21 Beal Realtor. I first contacted Kathy back in the fall when my husband first heard about his transfer to Dallas. Kathy took the time to give us some good, solid information even though we were not ready to list the house at that time. We went back to Kathy and got our house listed February 1st. We got a contract that evening and a second the morning of February 2nd. I think our house is attractive, but Kathy's pricing advice put us in a (0 comments)
