Texas A&M was awarded a grant to implement a bio-security center in Bryan, College Station. This grant is the biggest thing to happen in Texas since NASA. But what is the purpose of this center? The center is meant to enhance the nation’s ability to react to biological attacks and pandemic outbreaks, such as the influenza. The center is meant to produce 50 million vaccines in four months in order to respond to such emergencies. The center is supposed to bring in 1,000 direct jobs and 6,000 indirect jobs, supposed to bring in 1.3 billion dollars in the first five years. … (1 comments)

This may be the first post I've written that gets pulled - I can live with it. I'm still stomping mad about comments made on a post yesterday. I won't publicize the author's name since that would just be more advertising for him but here is the jest of the post and comments...
