I got the chance to sit down with Janel Miller at Stewart Title in Flagstaff, AZ and got to talking about Deeds. This information is true for the state of Arizona, so if you live in another state, you may want to see if there are differences.
There are several different types of deeds Title creates during the escrow process once a property is under contract. The main one is called the Warranty Deed, which is the actual title on the property.  This deed is signed by the Seller, it is transferring the ownership of the property over to the Buyer.
