This Is What I Just Don’t Understand - 11/30/08 06:34 PM

Bicyclist cutting in front of drivers who are in mid-turn. When I say mid-turn I mean the car is at an angle while the driver is trying not hit the curb or other cars. This is stressful enough for drivers, we don't need a cyclist to put themselves in the mix and in harms way. I see this a lot from cyclists of all age groups. Is this some secret bicycling maneuver that drivers have not been made aware of? Is there some logic behind this? If so please explain! Someone is going to get hurt and I don't want … (4 comments)

Make your offer a win-win. The best offers gives the seller something that they want while you get what you want. Instead of making a low offer, unless the property is over priced, give the seller their price but ask for a contribution for an interest rate buy-down, you will save a lot more money this way and you are telling the seller that their home is worth what they think it is (this keep their blood pressure down), but in the end you are getting what you want: Lower Payments.

Green Builders Offering Green Remodeling - 11/19/08 12:28 PM
Green Builders, owned and run by the much beloved Austin area builder Clark Wilson, has recently introduced Green Remodeling services which help you make energy  efficient upgrades to your home or complete an energy efficient remodel.
Starting in June 2009 Austin homeowners will be required to get an energy audit on residential and possibly (highly likely) commercial properties prior to the sale of the property, I can't think of a better opportunity to get a head start than consulting with one of my favorite home builders.
