Property investment for resale has been glorified in shows like "Flip that House", in the ultimate sellers market a few years ago people with very little experience were making big bucks doing this.
The Boston area has not been hit by the ecomony as much as the rest of the country. However, the real estate investors are sitting back waiting to see if there is an opportunity looming over the Boston area. What are your opinions on this subject?

Once upon a time, I was a stockbroker for one of the big national name firms. Learned a lot in that business (mostly that I hated cold calling), some of which applies quite nicely to real estate.
I have said this once to a friend, real estate flippers celebrate success too early, before any thing really substantial has been achieved. And second, flippers econimic take off is neither automatic nor guaranteed.
