Lately I've read several blog posts from Active Rain bloggers who are receiving derogatory comments on their posts, and are seeing them on other posts as well. I knew this would eventually happen as the site continues to grow, but I was hoping it would be later, rather than sooner.
The biggest obstacle to climbing the ladder to success is weeding your way through the crowd at the bottom. I'm sure you've all heard that before but it is so very true. 
Why don't we see this headline in any of the newspapers? Why isn't this a top story for the local 11pm broadcasts? Unfortunately, the opposite is often true. Stories come to the headlines of real estate agents who make blunders, tell lies, or generally fail in their fiduciary duties.

To live by the golden rule means that we must imagine ourselves in another's position. How else can we treat others as we would have them treat us? To really live by the Golden Rule involves consideration of and empathy with everyone that we come into contact with.
