Mother's Day is 100 years old today! Anna Jarvis, the woman credited with the creation of this day, wanted to pay tribute to mother's with the gift of a white carnation. This was to show the purity of a mother's love!
When we got home this evening we had two invitations in the mail announcing Graduation. The invitations got me to thinking (that's dangerous when I get to thinking).

Here it is Saturday evening on December 15 and there are many Aggie students, their parents, and their friends celebrating tonight. The semester is over and it was graduation time yesterday and this morning.

It’s that time of year! Graduation cards, graduation parties, graduation gifts, and the strains of “Pomp & Circumstances” will soon be in the air. And, all too soon, the graduates will be off to college, ready to explore life away from Mom & Dad.
