To do so, the government is offering a reduced cost of certain upgrades by tax crediting those components that qualify. However, there is a time limit that expires at the year's end.

According to the Austin Business Journal, Wilson Holdings Inc. has received up to $100 million in credit to create green-building subdivisions.
RBC Centura, Franklin Bank and IBC Bank lead the credit facility and have committed $55 million.
