On Monday, October 6th, I learned from a fellow REALTOR® that our Humane Society was closing at the end of the month. This morning I got verification from reading our local newspaper. Per the St. Augustine Record's article today:

Last week I reported that we had adopted a little kitten at the Coweta County Animal Shelter. A life saved ... Just in the nick of time! I am happy to tell you that little Peyton is doing just fine after a trip to the vet and a little medical treatment.
Why go to a pet store and risk buying a dog from a puppy mill when you can find an adorable dog, cat, rabbit or bird at a shelter or mobile van in your neighborhood?

Nine month old Snickers, has had a busy life so far. He is a Cocker

Well it's that time of year again! Time for the 9th annual Ocean City Humane Society's "Board Walkin' for Pets!" The event will be held on Saturday April 26th from 9AM - 12 PM on the Boardwalk, near the inlet.
Elkhart County, Indiana Humane Society will hold an adoption event Friday April 25th from 6-9 pm at the Elkhart Express Basketball Game, North Side Gym, 300 Lawrence Street in Elkhart.
