ice: FL Driver's License Emergency Contact Info - IMPORTANT - 10/08/08 05:50 AM
I just learned Florida drivers can access their driver license emergency contact data via a state website:
https://www6.hsmv.state.fl.us/dlcheck/findcustomer
This application came about to expedite the ability of police officers at crash scenes to more quickly find emergency contact data.
I know we've all hear about having ICE (In Case of Emergency)

ice: When The Power goes Out - 04/24/08 10:23 AM
Most power outages are minor, lasting a few minutes or hours. But for those that are longer, taking some simple steps ahead of time will keep food fresh and your family safe. Skip the candles. It's too easy to drop them if you bump into things walking from room to room.

A while back someone sent me an email talking about the program I.C.E., IN CASE OF EMERGENCY. It was started by a British paramedic, and has grown across Europe and North America.
