With almost 100,000 now playing in the Rain, there are going to be some minor disagreements and maybe a few bruises of various sorts, but lets see if we can’t be civil to one another.
An increasingly large number of my RE clients are getting Blackberrys (or is it Blackberries...) and other texting devices. After all, it's a tried-and-tested technology for those on the move. But speed and convenience seems to be leading to short replies that may be misinterpreted...

Lately I've read several blog posts from Active Rain bloggers who are receiving derogatory comments on their posts, and are seeing them on other posts as well. I knew this would eventually happen as the site continues to grow, but I was hoping it would be later, rather than sooner.

As a real estate agent, a cell phone is almost as important as the key that gives you access to properties on the market. We all have them (don't we?) - they're an intrinsic part of our business and our lives. However: 
As a society we need to have better manners. About an hour ago I overheard one of our customer service people take a call (happen to be on speaker phone). This person was yelling at the customer service rep over an order.

When I was a kid my mother taught me to eat with my mouth closed, say "Please" and "thank you" to people that did something for you, and to use what society considers "good manners" at all times.
It is customary in Hawaii to remove your shoes on the outside of someones home before entering. If you are new to the island, you may be surprised to even see signs at the front door requesting you to leave your shoes there. 
Every time someone comments on one of my blogs, I feel obligated to visit their site and return the favor by commenting on their blog. I find it funny how I feel guilty when I don't return the kind gesture.
